Eurodraw  Wire Equipment  has recently developed a new 6 cone wet drawing machine designed for the production of ultra high tensile fine wire. The machine is equipped with 6 drawing cones and can be fitted with up to 28 drawing dies. The die drafting used in this machine is not a fixed reduction but follows a path that has been calculated taking into consideration several factors such as tensile strength increase, heat generation, area reduction, drawing efforts. This special drafting ensures a dramatic increase of die life and a wire quality that has mechanical properties that are unmatched by any of the wet machines currently on the market. 

The machine is capable of processing wire up to final sizes of 0.080 mm and can be combined with a automatic spooler or manual spooler which are both equipped with a very specific winding control system that ensures a perfectly flat and even winding without any operator intervention. This machine is a further evolution of the wet drawing machines that have been designed for the production of brass plated SAW wire.
